term test timetable is out. looking at the repeated modules, a wave of disappointment came over me. one core and 2 cds behind. only have myself to blame for poor time management in sem 1. poly does not equals all play and no work. the workload can get pretty heavy, and the only way to cope in poly is consistency unless you are fucking smart, which i dont think many of the people are. those who made it to the director's honours list (DHL) are those who are very consistent in their work, hardworking sturdy students. so, im using them as my role models to pull my fucking gpa up. i guess my DHL and diploma merit is half gone, unless i get all As and probably a few Zs in my remaining time at tp. highly possible? this is what we call, goal-orientated dream. let it be my motivation to study in tp. more posts like this will be posted, serves as a reminder to myself/stress reliever/motivation whatever.
okay, now to something light. FIRST EVER SALVO PERFORMANCE TODAY!! during waiting, most of us were hungry and just kinda fooling ard backstage, crept out a little to watch the 'tp oei!' going on over at the seating area. damm excited when it was time to get on stage. sweating palms and pumping hearts. adrenalin rush. hehh. but, all nervousness gone when we started playing, cause everywhere was dark except the stage and morever, we have to go w/o our specs. so, i was partially blind, all i could really see clearly was nth. a blurred image of jun, aisha, junhong and, kailin's and charmaine's backview .im seriously myopic, reminds me of mrs poh. one or two mistakes here and there by some of us. i had minor hick-ups. miss a beat or two, cant really remember. not very noticeable lah, i think. heehee it wasnt very well done but still passable, i guess. however, we received positive feedbacks from the crowds. was asked to play again during tmrw's lunch time, but most of the people couldnt make it so it was cancelled. im looking forward to more performancessss.
we have to move all the drums back from tcc back to studio 8 after the performance. not an easy job. imagine the never ending path of engine school plus the manoeuvring of trolleys stacked with drums into the lift and the squeezing through of narrow doorways and the mutiple doors that we have to open. the good thing was, we had 14 pairs of hands. afterwhich, we slacked in studio 8, pictures taking and entertainment by jun and aw. wahlao, make us laugh so much, and cause some of them to be merlion even. back to class we went.
me and huiying then proceeded to mensa 2 to have kuay chap. fabulous! crapped ard then went back to AS while huiying went to studio 10 to slack before her CO performance at 2. went to buy BMic lab notes from ultra supply then to join xinyi and fangmin at flavours. daphne and hwee lee came by shortly.there's something i really need to say, hwee lee habit of scaring people from behind is very outdated. i used to really hate it but im immuned to it now. if anyone tries to scares me from behind, i would probably have no reaction to it, all thanks to hwee lee.
and lao da was late! for lab today. hwee lee forgot to wear shoes for lab today and she had to wait for lao da to arrive before she is allowed to join us for lab officially. today's lab session was very short. only 1 1/2 hrs instead of the usual 3. saw shar! outside the lab, went with her to look for liying and then sat down at business school just to crap, as usual. then off to flavours again to look for lao da and daphne, another crapping session when hwee lee came back from the bookshop. talk abt borat and miss swan and laughed like crazy. as per usual. borat is highly recommended. watch the 24 mins clip on youtube. can laugh till you are breathless if you can understand the borat's slang. twat twat twat and the wow wow weeeeeee wow. super funny.
accommpanied laoda to do some shopping before heading home to do my report and to blog this super long post.
